What is MentorX, and how does it work?
MentorX runs live online tuition for G5 to G12 — Maths, Science, English and Computer Science — with mentors based in Delhi NCR and students across India. Everything parents usually ask on the first call is answered below.
What is MentorX?
MentorX is a live online tuition service for G5 to G12, taught by mentors based in Delhi NCR and available anywhere in India. Grades are grouped as G5–G8, G9–G10 and G11–G12. Every student starts with a free diagnostic class and a written study plan.
Which subjects does MentorX teach?
Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English, Computer Science / Informatics Practices and coding, across G5 to G12.
Are all MentorX classes online?
Yes. Every class is a live online session on a shared whiteboard with the same mentor, and each one is recorded and saved along with the chapter notes.
How much does MentorX tuition cost?
Classes start at Rs 599 per class for G5–G8, Rs 799 for G9–G10 and Rs 999 for G11–G12, with 10 percent off on 6-month plans and 20 percent off on 12-month plans. The full breakdown is on the pricing page and is confirmed after the free diagnostic class.
Is the first session really free?
Yes. The first session is a diagnostic — the mentor tests the student's actual level, finds the specific chapters where the gaps start, and writes it down. You get that written assessment even if you decide not to continue.
Do parents get progress updates?
Every week, in writing. The report covers what was taught, what improved, what slipped and what changes in the next week. It is a written note, not a verbal 'he is doing fine'.
Will the same mentor teach every session?
Yes. Continuity is the point — the mentor who ran the diagnostic keeps the student. If a mentor becomes unavailable, we hand over with the full plan and error log so nothing restarts from zero.
Which boards do you cover?
CBSE, ICSE, UP Board and Haryana Board (HBSE) as standard. IB and IGCSE are available on request depending on subject and mentor availability.
What happens to my child's pending backlog?
Yes. Under the Zero Backlog Promise, whatever syllabus a student has missed so far is taught again with notes, practice sheets and a re-test, at no extra fee.
